To families, friends, staff and outside support agencies:
For over 30 years the Country Manor and staff have trained in current infection prevention and control practices and work hard every day to protect everyone from the spread of all types of infections and illnesses. Our number one priority is safety.
The Country Manor follows daily updates and awareness regarding COVID-19. Since the morning of March 14, 2020, we have followed our outbreak protocol and stopped allowing all non-essential visitors into the Country Manor. We have no known cases at this time.
If there is an emergency or medical appointment and the resident needs to exit, we will coordinate this with the resident and the corresponding family. Anyone entering the front door will be REQUIRED to pass a screening and will have to pass the same screening when they return. If there are any concerns the resident may be quarantined for a period of time. If a family needs to deliver essential personal or care items, there will be a bin in front of the main entrance, you can place the items inside. Staff will collect the items and place them in a secure room where the items will stay in quarantine for 3 days before being delivered to your loved one.
Please feel free to share this information with anyone that may be visiting us. The more awareness, the better.
We understand these circumstances create worry and fear about loved ones and their well-being. Feel free to call us at any time. We are offering virtual visits and phone calls to help with the burden of being separated during this situation.
We also have made available the COVID-19 Guide Book for Residents that was prepared for our residents, should you wish to see the steps we are taking and information sharing we have been providing to our Residents.
Let's all fight this together and STAY HOME, FLATTEN THE CURVE! Together We can Win!
The Team at the Country Manor
